Spring Gallery Walk

It seems like winter lasted forever this year. It looks like spring is finally here!

That means it is time for the spring gallery walk.

TU is excited to present a duo show featuring 2 local artists that work in different but complimentary mediums, one in wood and one in textiles.

The artists will be in attendance during gallery walk week end. On saturday April 18th they will be here between noon and 4 pm and on Sunday April 19th they will be here from noon until 3 pm.

TU is also partnering with Amanda Babichuk of d’lish fresh organic gourmet. We will have a draw for an awesome package from d’lish for you and your friends to have a culinary art experience that is like no other.

Dale Kalbfleisch is the “Field.” He is fascinated with fluid form & his panels are a tribute to the land, to his roots, history and to those who tend this land. His unique approach to wood working has resulted in undulating images with nuances of layers, geometry, patterns, light and colour.    

We are pleased to be featuring for the fourth year this juried show and sale of the works by the NAIT Photographic students

You are invited to come meet these up and coming artists at their opening April 30th from 7 – 9 pm or check out their show anytime from April 30th until May 16th during our regular galley hours.

Vibrant Earth

TU Gallery is pleased to host Vibrant Earth. This is a show and sale of the works of Darlene Adams and Joseph McLaughlin. Darlene and Joseph share their passion for life via oil and canvass. While not knowing each other before collaborating to present Vibrant Earth, it is uncanny how much each of these artists have in common, paricularily the love of nature and the desire to express their life experiences through painting.

Please join us Saturday 20 June 2009 for the opening reception for Vibrant Earth. Darlene and Joseph will be in attendence on saturday between noon and 4 pm. The show runs until 4 July 2009.
